(collectively, the "Services"). When we use "you", "your" or "User", we refer to any authorised driver who accesses or uses the App.
By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data as described herein.
This Privacy Policy is issued in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 of Singapore ("PDPA") and any other applicable data protection laws and regulations.
PLEASE READ THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY.

Part A: Personal Data We Collect

1. CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

1.1 We collect personal data that you provide to us directly, that we collect automatically when you use the App, or that we receive from our backend systems and third-party service providers. The categories of personal data we collect include:

1.2 Data we do not collect: The App does not collect your precise or real-time device location, camera or microphone input, biometric data (such as fingerprints or facial recognition), or payment card details. No payment transactions are processed through the Driver App.
1.3 You are not obliged to provide personal data to us. However, if you choose not to provide certain data, we may not be able to provide you with the App or certain features thereof.

Part B: How We Collect Personal Data

2. COLLECTION METHODS

2.1 We collect personal data through the following means:
2.1.1 Directly from you — when you log in to the App, update your profile, make a reservation, cancel a schedule, contact our support team, or otherwise interact with features of the App.
2.1.2 Automatically via SDKs and log files — when you use the App, we automatically collect usage, analytics, and diagnostic data through third-party software development kits (SDKs), log files, and similar technologies integrated into the App (see Part F for details of the specific services used).
2.1.3 From our charging infrastructure — charging schedule and session data (such as schedule status, charger and connector assignments, and session timings) is generated by our backend systems and Charging Station infrastructure, and is associated with your account when you are assigned a schedule or make a reservation.
2.1.4 From third-party service providers — we may receive technical and operational data from our cloud hosting providers, analytics platforms (Firebase), and push notification service providers as part of delivering the Services.

Part C: How We Use Your Personal Data

3. PURPOSES OF USE

3.1 We use your personal data for the following purposes:
3.1.1 Account management — to create, maintain, verify, and secure your driver account, including authenticating your identity via email and password, maintaining your login session through secure token management, and enabling account recovery via password reset.
3.1.2 Service delivery — to provide, operate, and improve the App and its core features, including displaying your assigned vehicles, showing your charging schedules, enabling reservation creation and cancellation, and presenting your schedule history.
3.1.3 Scheduling and reservation management — to process your charging reservation requests, assign you to available Charging Stations and connectors, display your active and historical schedule data, and manage cancellations.
3.1.4 Push notifications — to register your device for push notifications, send you real-time alerts about your charging schedules and sessions (e.g. session start/end, maintenance notices, emergency alerts, and reminders), and unregister your device upon logout.
3.1.5 Communications — to respond to your enquiries, complaints, and feedback, and to send you service-related communications about the App or your account.
3.1.6 Analytics and improvement — to understand how the App is used, monitor App performance, diagnose technical issues, improve existing features, and develop new services and capabilities.
3.1.7 Crash reporting and diagnostics — to automatically detect, log, and report application crashes and technical errors so that we can identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring a stable and reliable experience for drivers.
3.1.8 Security and fraud prevention — to monitor the App and our backend systems for unauthorised access, misuse, and security threats; to protect the rights, property, and safety of Charge+, our Users, and the public; and to enforce our Terms of Use.
3.1.9 Legal and regulatory compliance — to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements, and to respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
3.2 Where we process your personal data on the basis of your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.

Part D: Disclosure of Your Personal Data

4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

4.1 We do not sell your personal data. We may share your personal data with the following categories of recipients:
4.1.1 Service providers and vendors — third-party companies and individuals that perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting providers, analytics providers (Firebase), push notification service providers (Firebase Cloud Messaging), customer support platforms, and IT infrastructure providers. These parties are authorised to use your data only as necessary to provide services to us.
4.1.2 Charging station operators and administrators — operators and administrators of Charge+ charging facilities may have access to your charging schedule data, vehicle assignment information, and session records to the extent required to manage and operate the charging infrastructure.
4.1.3 Host location operators — operators of premises where Charging Stations are located may receive limited session data (e.g. session timestamps, schedule status) necessary for the administration of the charging facility at their premises.
4.1.4 Business transfers — in connection with any merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your personal data may be transferred to the relevant third party, subject to equivalent privacy protections.
4.1.5 Legal and regulatory authorities — where required or permitted by law, including to comply with a court order, legal obligation, or lawful request from a government or regulatory authority.
4.1.6 With your consent — to any other third party where you have given your explicit consent for us to do so.

Part E: SDKs and Tracking Technologies

5. MOBILE SDKs AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

5.1 As the App is a native mobile application, we do not use browser cookies. Instead, we and our service providers integrate software development kits (SDKs), log files, and encrypted local storage into the App to collect and store information about how you use the App.
5.2 These technologies help us to:
  • maintain your authenticated session securely between App launches;
  • store your display theme preference locally on your device;
  • understand usage patterns and improve App performance;
  • detect and diagnose technical problems and crashes; and
  • deliver timely push notifications to your device.
5.3 You may be able to limit certain data collection through your mobile device's system settings (e.g. disabling push notification permissions in iOS or Android Settings). However, doing so may affect your ability to receive important service alerts and schedule notifications.

Part F: Third-Party Services

6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

6.1 Our App integrates the following third-party services that may collect and process your data under their own privacy policies:
6.1.1 Firebase Analytics (Google) — we use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymised usage event data, track screen views, and monitor how drivers interact with the App. Data collected includes app open events, login events, screen names visited, and custom interaction events. Processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
6.1.2 Firebase Crashlytics (Google) — we use Crashlytics to automatically collect crash reports and diagnostic data when the App encounters an error. This may include device state information, stack traces, and app version details at the time of the crash. Processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
6.1.3 Firebase Cloud Messaging — FCM (Google) — we use FCM to deliver push notifications to your device. To enable this, your FCM device token, device type, operating system version, and app version are registered with our backend upon login and removed upon logout. Processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
6.1.4 Firebase Remote Config (Google) — we use Remote Config to manage and update App configuration and feature settings remotely without requiring an App update. No personal data is directly collected through this service.
6.1.5 Firebase App Check (Google) — we use App Check to verify that API requests originate from authentic instances of the App, protecting our backend services from abuse. This service processes a device integrity attestation but does not collect personal data directly.
6.1.6 Google Fonts — the App uses Google Fonts to render typefaces. Font resources may be loaded from Google servers, which may log your device's IP address in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
6.2 We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

Part G: Data Retention

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

7.1 We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, including satisfying any applicable legal, regulatory, or operational requirements. The appropriate retention period for any particular category of personal data will depend on the nature of the data and the purpose for which it was collected.
7.2 Authentication tokens used to maintain your login session are stored only on your device and are cleared automatically when you log out of the App.
7.3 Where we use third-party services (such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) that retain data according to their own default retention settings, we will endeavour to configure those services in line with our data minimisation obligations.
7.4 When personal data is no longer required, we will take reasonable steps to securely delete or anonymise it. Where immediate deletion is not technically feasible (e.g. data held in backup systems), we will isolate the data from further active processing until deletion is possible.

Part H: Data Security

8. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR DATA

8.1 We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, accidental loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:
  • encryption of data in transit using industry-standard TLS protocols;
  • encryption of sensitive data at rest;
  • access controls and authentication mechanisms to limit access to personal data to authorised personnel only;
  • regular security assessments and penetration testing; and
  • staff training on data protection and information security.
8.2 Notwithstanding the above, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach that affects your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
8.3 You are responsible for keeping your Account credentials confidential. Please notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access to your Account as described in our Terms of Use.

Part I: Your Rights and Choices

9. ACCESS, CORRECTION AND OTHER RIGHTS

9.1 Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights in respect of your personal data:
9.1.1 Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how we use it.
9.1.2 Right of correction — you may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you. You may also update certain information directly within the App.
9.1.3 Right of withdrawal of consent — where we rely on consent as the basis for processing, you may withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal.
9.1.4 Right to erasure — you may request that we delete your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, subject to our legal obligations to retain certain data.
9.2 To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us using the contact details set out in Part L. We may require you to verify your identity before processing your request. We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time and in accordance with applicable law.
9.3 We reserve the right to charge a reasonable administrative fee for access or correction requests where permitted by applicable law.

Part J: Cross-Border Transfers

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

10.1 Your personal data may be transferred to, stored, and processed in countries other than Singapore, including countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in Singapore.
10.2 We will only transfer your personal data internationally where we have implemented appropriate safeguards to ensure that your data receives an equivalent level of protection as required under the PDPA and applicable law, including through contractual arrangements with our service providers.

Part K: Changes to This Policy

11. UPDATES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

11.1 We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our data practices, the Solution, or applicable law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by providing a more prominent notice within the App.
